VMware Error updating using online or offline depot – [Errno 28] No space left on device

Ever update VMWare/ESXi and run into this?

Luckily it’s pretty straightforward to fix.

Login to ESXi, Manage -> System -> Swap -> Edit settings.

Make sure SWAP is enabled and select your datastore and retry the update.
